Two men have been charged with illegal drug possession after one turned himself in and the other was spotted in a frontyard.
Jason Hawkins, 21, and Jolly Eubanks, 30, have each been jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Hawkins faces charges of felony possession of marijuana for sale; Eubanks with selling and possessing marijuana, possessing peyote for sale and having a firearm while committing a felony.
Eubanks turned himself in Nov. 2 about a week after narcotics officers with a warrant searched a home on the 2000 block of West La Vida Avenue.
Officers seized roughly 80 to 100 pounds of marijuana worth about $150,000, a half pound of peyote worth about $1,500 and a firearm.
Nobody was home during the raid but officers were able to identify Eubanks and Hawkins as suspects.
On Saturday, Hawkins was spotted at about 3 p.m. in a front yard on the 800 block of East Oak Avenue; he did not resist when arrested soon after.
