Three people where arrested in separate searches of two Plainview homes.
Emilo Acevedo, 26, and Maria Ramirez, 20, both of Plainview, were arrested Tuesday morning after a search of their home by the Tulare County Gang Task Force and Tactical Enforcement Personnel.
The warrant was served at 7:18 a.m. at 19730 Avenue 195, Plainview.
Officers reportedly founds 66 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $2,640. About 20 more grams of marijuana were also found inside the home, according to a news release from the Tulare County Sheriff's Department.
Acevedo and Ramirez were booked at the Porterville Substation and Bob Wiley Detention Facility, respectively.
Two children were residing at the home. Detectives reportedly found evidence of child endangerment and the children were placed with Tulare County Child Protective Services.
Acevedo and Ramirez were taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a residence to sell narcotics, conspiracy and child endangerment.
Just minutes after the first search warrant was served, a second warrant was served at 19720 Avenue 194, Plainview.
At the conclusion of an unrelated investigation, officers served the warrant to search the premises at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Sheriff's Department officials.
Officers reportedly found and seized 2.5 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of $100 and 17 grams of marijuana with an estimated value of $170.
The resident, identified as Salvador Rivera Sanchez, 43, of Plainview, was arrested on suspicion of possession and sales of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and a hypodermic needle. He was also reportedly found to be in violation of probation.
He was booked at the Porterville Substation and transferred to the Tulare County Main Jail.
