The National Applications Office (NAO) The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) established a new domestic spying operation in 2007 called the National Applications Office (NOA) and described it as "the executive agent to facilitate the use of intelligence community technological assets for civil, homeland security and law enforcement purposes within the United States." The office was to begin operating last fall to "build on the long-standing work of the Civil Applications Committee (CAC), which was created in 1974 to facilitate the use of the capabilities of the intelligence community for civil, non-defense uses in the United States." With or without congressional authorization or oversight, the executive branch is in charge and will let NAO use state-of-the-art technology, including military satellite imagery, to spy on Americans without their knowledge.

Buckley, Jr., the Rockefeller family, and more. Almost all the machine's creators had CIA backgrounds.

Organized religions too count on secrecy and mystery to conceal their power fantasies from their faithful. The hooded Ku Klux Klan stands like a landmark along the descent into total secrecy. Secrecy inevitably deteriorates and becomes evil. It turns its initiates against the world they have never come to understand. What was once a search for magic becomes vindictiveness against perceived threats, then morphs into evil, and finally degenerates into the delusions of grandeur and the madness of omnipotence. Once the downhill process begins there is no stopping the fall.

The FIS Court operates under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which regulates the gathering of foreign intelligence information inside the United States, and rarely refuses a government request to conduct special surveillance.

He penetrated America's most secret atomic facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Dayton, Ohio – where the plutonium, enriched uranium and polonium used to create the atomic bomb were developed. Such was the embarrassment of US intelligence at its total failure to protect the country's secrets that it has maintained a blanket of secrecy over the Koval affair, which it had known all about for 60 years.

The diplomats left Georgia via Yerevan as there are no direct flights between Georgia and Russia. On 7 November, Georgian Rustavi2 TV showed a film made by Georgian security services, which confirmed connection between the leaders of the Unified Opposition and Russian intelligence service, news agency Trend reported.

The prospect of a nuclear bomb being detonated in Washington without warning, whether smuggled in by terrorists or a foreign government, has been cited by many security analysts as a rising concern since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The order makes explicit that the focus of federal worst-case planning involves a covert nuclear attack against the nation's capital, in contrast with Cold War assumptions that a long-range strike would be preceded by a notice of minutes or hours as missiles were fueled and launched.

Basically, PROMIS is a database program with amazing flexibility and statistical abilities and can also be used to predict future trends, submarine locations, etc. This software was developed by private individuals with some help in funding by the U.S. Department of Justice. However, the government decided to [take] the program instead of paying for it and began to market it as their own. This information is widely known and well-accepted and much documentation of this exists (including a successful lawsuit by the software developers that was later overturned on the flimsiest of grounds through the interference of the powers that be). However, when Casolaro set out to write an article about the robbery of the PROMIS program by the government, potentially to sell it to a computer magazine, the deeper he dug, the more sinister things became.
