† The members of Gang Watchers are firmly convinced that the camera is the weapon of choice - when you come into contact with a gang members who become aggressive and threatening. If they do not respond to the Gosple and start to charge you ... take their picture. Knowing that they will be loosing members to the Gosple ... they can get upset. That's why it's important that you know that your business is right with JESUS. And it's also important ... to have evidence !

† 01-01-06 : Sunday - On this same day Gang Watchers spotted this same young Sureno (X3) inside of Wal-Mart over by the mens clothing section. Once we had walked close enough to hear the conversation these two (X3) were having, we introduced our selves and told this one guy, that he looked like a Sureno. We asked if he was and he smiled real big. We then asked if those were real Sureno shoe laces. He said they were ... so we asked if we could take a picture. He said ok.

† 01-01-06 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers spotted this young Norteno (X4) at Wal-Mart. He was confronted with all of his "RED" clothing and manner. He was asked in the store if we could take his picture. He quickly ran towards the garden department ... in fear. He later showed up outside in the front of the store (pic), saw us and then ran for cover again ... looking for his Daddy.

† 01-01-06 : Sunday - On this same day Gang Watchers spotted this same young Norteno (X4) and his daddy coming out together in front of Wal-Mart. Gang Watchers (above) followed this (X4) in the out door and then comfronted both as they came out. The daddy, who had a "4-Dot" tatoo (X4) on his left eye tried to threaten us by saying a few things. We just waited for him and his family of Nortenos to come out together. The father is the one in front (shorter) and the younger (taller) behind.

† 01-01-06 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers spotted this same Sureno (X3) coming out of Target. Gang Watchers talked to him earlier about his clothing and that it looked like he was a gang member. He said "maybe I am and maybe I ain't". So we told him, on the way out of the store, maybe we'll take your picture ... and maybe we won't. Because of his manner and behavior, it was obvious to Gang Watchers ... he was.

† 01-01-06 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers spotted this truck with the passenger openly drinking in the truck and out side. When we confronted him, only because of blue colors. He retort was, "I just popped this one only". A closer look at this truck revealed more open containers and childrens toys in the back.

Gang Watchers wants the public to know this one thing. If we all work together and keep a close eye on our community, Porterville will once again be a safe place to raise our children.
