† 05-27-07 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers went out - after Church - to share the Gospel with gangs. Armed with Bible tracts, Christian Comic's, the Word of GOD and the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT ... Gang Watchers was prepared.

And believe it or not, we had a hard time finding any sign of gang activity. And trust me when I say this - we looked far and wide. Yes there was some new graffiti that we will show you next month, but all-in-all, it was the "Perfect Sunday". And to top it all off, I had a chance to see everyone's sweetheart Rachelle Williams. For those of you that arn't familiar with her story and why see is alive today, click here. Rachelle said that she will be up-dating us soon, as too her recovery and where she's at right now. † 05-26-07 : Saturday - On this day Gang Watchers wanted to let our viewers see and hear for themselves {from YouTube} how the Norteños vs Sureños gangs are terrorizing neighborhoods all across California. Can we take much more of this violence ? And what can we do about it ? Those are questions you should have been asking yourself years ago. Linking to Gang Watchers is a start. † In May, Gang Watchers will be delivering the rest of the 5000 bumper stickers to the area Churches. We've heard from many more the Churches in the area and we need to finish the job. † 05-20-07 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers was invited to assist a local Church with their booth at the Porterville fair.

We were told they wanted us there to pass out materials regarding gangs, Bible Tracts and Christian comic magazines. We took everything we had and had fantastic results. However, the one item that went over real big, was the Christian comic magazine called "Soldiers of Darkness". We almost ran out and would have if we stayed any longer than we did. How long did we stay ... just a few hours ! This young man {left} who was from a Victory OutReach in another town, wanted a copy of the magazine to send to his father {Norteno} who was in jail. He felt like the story that was written and produced just for his father ... but do did everyone else. The people {gangs} were hungry for GOD ! Out of the 300 or so Bible Tracts we offered, less than 10 people turned us down. That's the truth. Folks ... these gang members really want out, and they need you to lead them out. I highly recommend that you or your Church or Ministry purchase these Christian Magazines ASAP. If you think you only need about 100, trust me ... you'll go back and buy 500. Brother LUCKY. † May 2007 : Gang Watchers came across this graffiti this month and wanted to offer a $50.00 award to the first person who can identify it and where it's located - just like we did in October 2006. And yes the last picture was identified and the person who received the award will remain unidentified. These pictures we took, Gang Watchers believes, will better serve the community at large regarding gang awareness. This is the second time we have done this and will continue educating the public, the parents and the press.
Where's this Graffiti and what does it say ?

† Yes ... just like before, we are going to give away another $50.00 dollars to the first person who writes to us at { GANG WATCHERS^® P.O. We're doing this to encourage more people to get better aquainted with their community and to help them recognize some of these markings. † 05-17-07 : Thursday - As you already know, Gang Watchers is committed to educating the public-at-large about gangs and how to identify many of their symbols and graffiti. Today we came across this graphic and wanted to know if anyone knew which engine part {hint} this image was first put on and which gang does it represent. If you know, send us an e-mail. You don't have to tell us your name or anything. All were going to do is count the number of e-mails we get with the right answers. That's it. † 05-13-07 : Sunday - On this day Gang Watchers added another "Gangsta Rapper" page listing rappers who are "Sureno Rappers". This list was e-mailed to me and it will be a work in progress, as any list on this web site is. I hope that the individual who took the time to do this research will also up-date us regarding Nortenos who are rappers. Thanks. Brother LUCKY.

† 05-12-07 : Saturday - Gang Watchers hit the east side [ESP] and [VCP] streets this afternoon - for 8 hours -

and had the pleasure of speaking with several gang members and gang groups. On one occasion, we actually joined a "Street Party" in progress [VCP] and shared the Gosple to about eight Nortenos.

In less than 5 minutes, we were able to hand them bible tracks and a copy of "Soilders of Darkness" - of which they all loved. Before we left, one said that he already had JESUS in his heart ... so I grabbed his hand and said great, "Let's All Pray". And they all bowed their heads and prayed. Now I share these stories with you folks for one reason and that this ... JESUS is coming back real soon and HE needs you to share HIS Gosple. This is not rocket science folks !!! It's called being obedient to GOD and it's also called the Royal Law. And remember, perfect Love casts out all fear ... so being fearfull of witnessing to a gang member, or anyone for that matter, should not be a part of your Christian Character. Think about it. † 05-11-07 : Friday - This morning as I was up-dating our site, I came across this article called "What about Roberto". In this story you will read about a son who made a wrong choise and a mother who made a wrong decision. And what I need you folks to understand is the "Moral" of this story - which is this, "Two wrongs don't make a right". And the second is "JESUS IS THE ANSWER" ... not man or man's system. † 05-08-07 : Tuesday Night - Gang Watchers was asked by a local political group to set up some display tables and to share a little about gangs and how we minister to them. The guest speaker {at this forum} was a Captain from Tulare County Sheriff's department. He addressed many issues regarding suppression and some regarding incarceration ... but defered many of the prevention and intervention aspects to Gang Watchers. Although we had three tables full of information and ministry tools for those who needed them, the audiance who came ... came to be entertained. They did not come to learn. A good note, however, was the presence of a local Christian News Paper called Valley Light. They stayed for the whole meeting and met with Gang Watchers afterwords and reminded us to take them the next when we hit the streets - and we will. And the final Blessing came from my own Church. In the audiance was my Pastors wife and I am so glad she stayed to help us pack up our stuff. I wish everyone had a Church like I have. I truely feel Blessed. Brother LUCKY. † 05-07-07 : Monday - While everyone is talking about the Hip Hop and Rap industry and how they should be "self-cencoring" - to slow down the negative influence they've pimped out to our kids - the mass media is also coming under fire. Why ? Because they're the one's who advertised all this Rap-Crap ! Knowing it's coming and knowing they too will be loosing million's in advertising ... the print media and advertising industry must be on their knees before GOD asking for forgiveness - as they should. It's not just MTA and VH1 ... it's the whole collective industry. And the $64,000.00 dollar question of the day is - how are they going to reclaim all the foul language and dysfunctional world views {Stop Snitchen'} that this generation now uses ??? I guess, since everyone's on the take, the only way to stop the people from seeing this truth ... is to blame the parents and the people and the public - again !!! Just remember - THEIR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED IN YOUR SILENCE !!! So ... "STOP SNITCHEN".

† 05-04-07 : Friday - Gang Watchers traveled to Stockton CA to visit with the founder and president of CROWN OF LIFE COMICS - Greg Lucero. Gang Watchers mission was to meet with Mr. Lucero and his associate and simply purchase a few Christian comic books for our ministry. Well ... it didn't take long before the Spirit of God spoke to my heart, asking us to financially invest in this new comic. As far as Gang Watchers is concerned - since GOD instructed us to invest - this just may be one of the best Christian Comic magazines out there in the country. † 05-03-07 : Wednesday - Gang Watchers traveled over to Visalia to pick up new copies of "Street Gangs in Tulare County" from Tulare County Office of Education {Web Page}.

This new edition {April 2007} that Mel J. Borbolla up-dated {since 2001} - is a must have for all those Churches and Ministries in Tulare County and the surrounding areas.

Street Gangs in Tulare County is a 32 page pamplet, in My opinion, is worth the effort to obtain. You will read about the symbols gangs use, their sports clothing that identify them. Parents will learn about prevention and ministries will learn about intervention.

In the very back, you will read about the actual names of gangs in Tulare County and surrounding areas. All-in-all, this booklet will save you a lot of research time and possibly save someone you love.
